Mission Trips

SHORT-TERM

Since 2000, UPFC has administered over 140 short-term mission trips for high school and college students from all over the United States. Mission trips costs are $425.00 per person. This cost includes training on site at church or school. (5 hour work shop and 2 hour planning meeting.) Logistics, lodging, food, supervision, and liability insurance. We request a $500.00 deposit that will go towards the total cost of your trip, and will lock in your mission trip date. Minimum number of students each week must reach 15.If your team does not total 15, we can combine team members from another church or school during your desired week.

We would be honored to talk with you about an affordable, intense opportunity that will help your young people understand more of what they believe, understand why they believe it, and how to communicate it more effectively to others.

WHY UTAH?

Utah is a forgotten mission field…

Approximately 62% of Utah’s population is Mormon. Only 2-3% claim to be Evangelical Christians.

A short term mission trip to Utah is like going to a foreign country within the United States. Utah’s landscape is dominated by huge numbers of Mormon churches and 12 LDS Temples. Every Junior High and High School has it’s own Seminary to train young people on the tenents of Mormonism and the Universities have Institutes of Relgion adjacent to college campuses to provide around the clock training in Mormon teachings and to provide a social network for the community.

Your students will go home with a greater desire to implement the ministry activities you do in Utah in your own backyard. With the training and supervision your teams receive, your students will grow in their ability to articulate the Gospel and to appreciate the basics of their relationship with Christ.

I invite you to browse our website and see how others have been blessed by God’s grace after having been on a mission trip to Utah.
